Sweet Sleep

Sweet Sleep

The gentle smell of sweetness
Fills my soul & cures my weakness
With every breath I breathe

The softness of her skin
With her nose against my chin
And her body wrapped around me
And I cant believe she found me
And Im home again
Home sweet- home sweet home sweet home sweet home again

To feel her heart apoundin
Steady rhythms safe and sound and
I have peace again
.
And its always a surprise
Each time I open up my eyes
To find this angel
As she lies so close beside me
Lives so deep inside..me

Then to close my eyes again
So quick for fear this dream might end
And Ill be back to where Ive been
So long so lonely

But When Its really time to wake
And shes still there, my heart dont ache
And I believe that I can make
It through the day asmiling

Let me tell you its a sight
To watch her sleep in mornins light
I must go back and hold her tight
She takes my breath away
.
And its always a surprise
Each time I open up my eyes
To find this angel
As she lies so close beside me
Lives so deep inside..me
