Words

Contributed by countrygirl437 on Friday, 30th December 2005 @ 01:55:12 PM in AEST
Topic: oops

They say that words can't hurt, I don't think that's true
for I've been hit by flying words,
and I'm sure some have been thrown at you.

Words have caused people to go to court
and yes sometimes its
words that cause divorce.

Words can be very powerful, and strong
we need to choose them carefully
before we say something wrong.

I have saw families crumble, because of words
I have saw nations on the brink of war
because of lies, how absurd.

I also no that words can reunite
and in the darkest of times
become our becon of light.

Words Can build us up, or they can break us down
but wheather we like it or not.
Words or all around.

It's up to us, to choose The Words
which we wish to convey
For one word of kindness can go a long way.

Its true... We can all pretend like we are not affected by what people say but some where deep inside we think about it all the time. Great write! Sends out a message everyone should hear!
