Fallen Angel

A crooked smile; broken wingers under his shirt. A dented halow; life and death all in one strung with his heart. A foot in one world, another in the next. He can't see himself when the darkness haunts his steps.
Eyes deepening with the abyss. Thoughtless steps to create a world forgotten in portraits. Ice encasing a heart beating with the rythmns of life and death. Can't he see the darkness coming at him from all sides?
An angel fallen into a world he doesn't understand. Strength and hatred mixing to make him a being more threatening than the darkness haunting his dreams.
Knives held in each hand. Eyes burning golden in the fading light. Eyes deciding against killing the one things he loves.
A lion stands before him defiant and deadly, but refuses her own nature to tear this wounded bird to shreds. She could crush him. Tear off those hands that hold the weapons of her demise. She could make those lovely eyes stop seeing things forever...
This fallen angel standing steady before her is such easy prey, but the lion holds her ground letting the darkness decsend upon them both. The lion can hear his heart beating, beating with life and death. His broken wings are hidden under his shirt. Eyes deepening with the abyss. His number was up long ago, but the lion refuses to let that darkness take him... Leaping into the night, she gives herself to that darkness. An angel fallen into a world he will never understand is given his wings again...

so very interesting- guess we all could see somethng different in it- I see the lion, who gave the one who was to destroy her another chance- even if she was able to do him in- a symbolic sacrifice.
thank you for sharing this-I enjoyed it
Peace and Light
