i'm stuck here in this prison at seventeen years old with every day that passes my blood runs a little cold
i ran from my carolina home to somewhere south of utah with my old worn out dog and nothing to say to the law
when they found me it was over i was found guilty before my trial so that judge in black put me away for a little while
when they turned me loose shame told me to roam so i'm still in a prison with no place to call my home
