I thought you had simply misplaced
the love vowed for me.
And with probable cause.
I assumed we were on the same side;
isn't that the way it should be?
You take much pride in yourself
finding 100% fault upon me.
I'm left with guilt and confusion.
You speak a language unknown.
Directed at me with hatred.
I'm trying to fix myself.
and learn about your foreign components
to keep our world right.
Before I begin to recover
from words branded into my soul.
I can no longer deny...
I'm a victim of verbal abuse

| this is written qutie different. i like it because it is different. i am amazed how you wrote this poem. my favorite line is when you speak" you speak a language unknown, directed at me with hatred" beautifully written. i really like this. |

Although; I find emotional abuse worse, but then, that and verbal kinda go hand and hand, now don't they?
