the barefoot orphan sought the scarlet moon a hopeful glance of future held his dream though silhouette-horizon shaped no sense as ruby ripples flickered on the stream
there,in hypnotic trance,he sought the truth of necessary thoughts that paved his past as grey-blue clouds of faith traversed the orb he caught the net of knowledge that she cast
with hands held high,he showered in her glow expectant of the answers to his fears but as he turned his eyes displayed his grief she'd bathed him callously in scarlet tears
though teasing torment crushed his sense of who from that bleak night there came a higher cry as blood-red hue dispersed to morning gold within,he understood the reasons why
