And So She Changed

Contributed by dyingwriter26 on Sunday, 26th January 2003 @ 12:20:00 AM in AEST
Topic: fantasy

Still I cry by what I've seen,
Pain is there fresh and mean.

Old bruises turn a yellow green,
But angel tears can't wash me clean.

Seeking colors I once knew,
In every long forgotten hue.

One small thing deep and blue,
Just give me one small clue.

Lost in a sea of dread,
Every soul dark and dead.

Anger raging, blood so red,
Breaking point is but a thread.

Gray is fading into black,
Almost done no turning back.

As ties to my world go slack,
I find more than what I lack.

The change is done, no more fright,
I love the dark, but dread the light.

Soiled soul, not virgin white,
A ruby bite of blood this night.

YOU TOLD YOUR STORY, ABOUT THE DEAD, WHAT YOU TURN INTO , RUSH THROUGH YOUR HEAD. SOMETHING BELONG IN THE SEA, COULD IT BE YOUR EYES, OR SOMETHING MORE TO SEE. WITH BLOOD DRIPPING FROM HEAD TO TOE, AN OCEAN LIKE CREATURE IS ALL, THAT I KNOW. IS IT A SAINT OR A DEMON IN HELL, OR A PEBBLE ON YOUR BED THAT ROLL OFF AND FELL. WHO WOULD BELIEVE A STORY LIKE THIS, ONLY ONE PERSON I KNOW, IS PRINCE, DIEING FOR A KISS. IF THAT SEA HORSE IS YOUR NUMBER ONE CLUE, I BEG OF YOU, TO TELL ME THE TRUE. NOW JOT DOWN THIS KILLER DEFEAT, SAMSON USE A JACKASS OF A BONE, TO BEAT HIS MEAT.

I doubt i am right but: a vampire?
Anyways, i really like the poem, and i find that usually the stuff i write and dislike is what everyone likes?! Strange but true.
