Crimson Piano Score

Contributed by SmileSkinDeep on Sunday, 8th January 2006 @ 05:44:26 PM in AEST
Topic: anguished

Crimson keys
Black and white,
A flickering ray of light
It slowly pieces together
Just like my life:
Beautiful...
But somehow not right

Music is spilling;
Escaping my veins
Tearing through the atmosphere
Expressing my pain

Beautiful harmonies
On their own
Beautiful crimson keys
But nothing more to show
Bleed so deep
I am alone,
The blood I weep:
Remains unknown

Secluded from the world
Retired to my music
So Beautiful
So tragic
So addicting
It's almost toxic

Unimaginable,
But I'm living it
Unbelieveable:
The punishment
Unfit

Blood
Staining the tiles
The bitter memories
The skin-deep smiles
The reality of it all
The truth
The pain when I fall

To lay down on the floor
To slowly die
See the blood from beneath the door
To discover my masterpiece,
And my last paino score

Crimson keys
Black and white
It's beautiful...
But somehow not right

I found this through the comments box and the title made me want to read it. I can't believe a piece this evocative and emotional has only had one comment, I loved it!
