Paint me a picture - Of Life through your eyes
Where everyones happy - And nobody cries
Make me a painting A view from your soul
Make the world be fair and people be whole
Paint me a picture and send it to me
To who it may concerned Where ever they may be
Living always South of Eden Yea were living always just South of Eden
I know its out there cause my momma told me so
Its written in the Bible and that make it true
Some times when Im sleeping its there beside me
You know I can catch a glimpse But I just cant get a view
Paint me the person that I know I can be
Use the colors of strength and the shadings of free
Make me a hero with the stroke of your brush
All of the girls so pretty in the forest so lush
Paint me a picture and send it to me
To who ever it concerns where ever they may be
Living always South of Eden
