One month to live

My cancer has spread to my brain. Soon I'll be gone and no longer in pain. I have only one month to live. There are people I've wronged who I hope can forgive.
My outlook on life changed after I became ill. It's sad when I think of how many people cancer kills. Now as I sit here and suffer, I realize it will get rougher.
As I endure this pain, I really am scared. I've come to learn that life isn't always fair. When my loved ones see me, they start to cry. I hope they can go on with their lives after I die.

The world will keep going on with us or without us. Take your gift of love and share it with the world. You have lots to give.. do not ever stop sharing.. the more you share, the better you will feel.. help others, it will definately help you.. hugs, from raquel leah who understands this poem.. |
