Night

Contributed by Kellros on Wednesday, 11th January 2006 @ 01:24:27 PM in AEST
Topic: happypoetry

Rain drips softly on a night awaiting mornings' dew,
leaves green, cold yet alive, in silence it grew.
Take no notice of rain yet to come,
forget about last winter and things that have gone.

Finding peace solemnly, drought of the land,
comes what give pleasure to a long awaited sand,
hope like a revenant, preached so secure,
seeking gold at rainbows end, joy is lifes' lure.

Happiness is not off this earth,
can't be found even if searched for from birth,
it's inner peace that has to be found,
acceptance and forgiveness - sacrifices all so sound,
there are things you have to be left behind,
to forgive and forget, only when peace the heart will find.

Cold steel so dreaded in the night instilling fear,
afraid of things so unreal, evanessent thoughts rumbling inside,
relief is only found in the true Source, with the appropiate gear,
will keep you alive, with morals sound and rules abide.

Fear not what the future holds,
don't forget the past,
unfortunate will be whom that scolds,
with eyes open oppertunities are vast.

Inner peace, reality waiting to be fulfilled,
to be with Him, to live a life with no regrets,
to secure a basis you are willing to defend
and to be released of all life's debts.
