Lie

Topic: EmotionalPoetry

The sky is getting dark, it's a rainy day.
The reflection from the window, is my tearing face.
Open our journal, read it page by page.
Looking at your pictures, thinking of you day by day.

That day you slipped away left me in a painful way.
You never gave me a reason and I never asked why.
Left me a note saying you don't want to try anymore.
I didn't even get a chance to say goodbye.

You said I don't understand nor know you well,
But you never wanted to tell me how you feel.
You said you love me and would not change
But you never wanted to spend time with me.

Asking myself, if I ever hurt your feelings, or made you suffer.
Always wondering but never getting an answer.
Until today. I see you two together.
And I realize it was all a lie.
