Finding Happiness

Contributed by Gracen2260 on Wednesday, 11th January 2006 @ 06:52:01 PM in AEST
Topic: EmotionalPoetry

Happiness is so hard to find
is really so hard
or are being stubborn and blind

We worry about work
we worry about how others think of us
we worry about everything

When one worrys depression takes over
happiness is lost
and everything we see turns to a dark gray
the light stops shining and our happiness fades away

If you woke up this morning
then quit worrying quit thinking about all the rest
because if your alive today then your truely blessed

Be thankful for life
appreciate that simple gift
if one can understand that
then away his sadness shall drift

We all have problems
that I dont deny
but there are thousands of others
worse off than us
who would give anything to live our lives

There are people with no home
people cold land left alone
people missing arms legs deaf and blind
and yet us with everything happiness we still cant find

We are kings compared to some
so quit wining about our problems
realize how good things are here

Enjoy life itself
when you do that happiness will draw near.
