It's hard to use words, that have never been used
It's hard to write love, when my pen bleeds abuse
But there's something about her, that sets my heart free
From that prison of self hatred, and misery
With writings like this, words are so hard to find
Even though my heart is so happy, because she is kind
The words come out awkward, the words don't flow
The words don't show confidence, because with love I just don't know
Love is an emotion, that's a one in a million chance
There's always a hole of vulnerability, that is left from a deepening romance
I sometimes get scared, of my openness, and my heart that I've exposed to you
But I wouldn't change a thing, because I know I love you
Please understand, that it's scary to write
about things I can't control, or I can not fight
I'm exposing to you, my fragile soul
Please take care of it, for you've entered a hole
That is in the armour, that I like to think I own,
But I think I've made it obvious,
my love for you has grown
