i have met him through space
i have met him in a haste
our minds clicked and
he was shocked, so was i

was this another one of those
paths being crossed?
he shook me really
he shooked me hard

he is the table
i am the chair that moves
from his corners to his side
another sits comfortably across from me

it also seeks to be home
this table only requires one
who will it be?
decisions need to be made

i have flaws, which sets me apart
i have flaws, will it cause me to dart
NO, i firmly believe that
this is what makes me unique!

throughout the years
call me nieve, wishful or yearning
i know what i want
and that is growing
