sleep won't come tonight
i can already tell
no need to turn on the light
it's dark and i've got secrets to tell
when you say that i look down
and you ask me what is wrong
i reverse my frown
but i just want to run
i want to get away from here
and i don't want to return
i just hide the tears
i don't want your concern
i want you to feel the same
i want you to hold me just once
i want you to stop my pain
but we don't always get what we want
