poem 7

Topic: DarkPoetry

The cold,
And the darkness.
The surround us from all sides.
That is all we can feel,
When our hearts have been broken.
Broken into more than 100 million pieces.
It will never heal.
The Snow Queen is Death's wife,
Queen of all that is evil & cold.
She is just a children's storytale.
But to us,
She is very real.
The "brutal nightmare" real.
She rules the world of cold,
Harsh realities of depression.
The non-happiness realm.
A realm which within we dwell.
Often.
Feeling happiness is a forbidden rule in this realm.
Breaking this rule deserves
And gets,
Cruel,
Harsh punishment.
Why seek happiness,
When we've got sadness at our fingertips?
We have always dwelled within this darkness,
And shall forevermore.
The Snow Queen.
With her heart made of solid ice.
Never feeling any emotions,
Except hate,
Spite,
Vengeance,
Jealousy,
And evil.
Turning anyone who comes to her,
Against all humans.
Those poor "happy" souls.
They never feel the real pain until the very end,
Right before they die.
Only a select few have really gone to this realm,
And met the Snow Queen herself.
We poor,
Unfortunate souls.
Running away from happiness.
Hurting the ones we love,
Till there's nothing left BUT pain.
Why we do this will remain one of life's many great mysteries.
It will also remain unanswered.
Even if we bundle ourselves up,
This endless cold will never go away.
The heat we felt so long ago,
Will cease to exist.
That's the way it just is for us,
Right?
