Face To Face

Contributed by LovingWhispers on Sunday, 26th January 2003 @ 09:40:00 AM in AEST
Topic: LovePoetry

As you sleep,I'll come to you
By your ear my breath will lie
And in your restless hours deep
I'll kiss the tears you cry
Each salty drop I'll drink of you
From your loneliness I will drain
Every ounce of sorrow
Until only I remain
Gently I'll awaken you
With an offering of my all
Naked in each others light
Into love we'll softly fall
Tender is the moment
As two lovers face to face
Taste the tears of happiness
Bodies moulding,hearts embrace
Let's not say a word,my love
Or make a promise we can't keep
Just spend these moments quietly
Listening to our bodies speak
Caressing each with silent words
That blow across our skin
Lying face to face, our eyes embrace
To reflect the love within
Hear us now as we speak, my love
Let our souls be softly stirred
As we fall ever deeper
With every unspoken word
No more will we dream alone
Searching for our place
For we have found in each a home
As we lie here face to face
