We split about a year ago,
and that's become our past...
I'll never let you know,
because i'll never ask...
Will you ever let me in again?
by now, you're just a friend
but more inside,
i won't confide...
"I love you like a happy tear
streaming down a cheek,
I wish i had you more than near
so we could laugh all week..."
But, you are my closest friend
and I am yours as well
Perhaps we will before the end
be more than what we tell

Well my dear friend I think you have two options here. 1. To tell ur friend that you still have deep feelings for her and that you would like to be more than friends or 2. Not say anything and continue on with life as good friends. Goodluck with whatever u decide.
A deep heartfelt write detailing of ones wish to have a love that's now lost. Well penned and expressed Dwayne.
