I want what's best for Emma
Not what's best for me
But if I'm not happy
How can we still be.
I find myself wondering
If my love for him is there,
And if we're not together
What burden on her it would bear.
I know he really loves Emma
But it's me I wonder about
My feelings have changed so rapidly
I find myself wanting out.
I know it's gonna hurt me
And it's gonna hurt him too
But if we're not truely in love
What else is there to do.
I doubt it'll make a difference
Cause he's never here of a day
But at night when she wants her daddy
I'm not sure what I'll say.
He says he really loves me
And it's here he wants to stay
But the more he says that
The less he seems to change.
