A special Friend

Topic: FriendshipPoetry

Friends are a special gift,
You can't throw them away.
Once you've met and made a friend,
They're always here to stay.

They help you through your times of grief,
And lift you when you're sad.
A friend's a gift from heaven,
And for a friend like you i'm glad.

I know you may not think so,
But I definitely do.
I'm the luckiest person in the world,
To have a friend like you.

You're right there when I need you,
You're always there to care
We should both look after each other,
When life seems unfair.

I hope you never leave me,
I'd never want you to go.
You're the best friend that i've ever had,
And i just wanted you to know.

Beautiful write. I'll bet your friend really liked receiving this! This is the best kind of gift to give and receive. It can never wear out or break. No one can ever steal it. The poem is like friendship; it is forever!

You've done a great job on this one. A very well written and dediacted piece of poetry.
Your friend would've been touched by such a beautiful heartfelt write. Well done.

A very sweet poem. I think your friend will be honored to receive this one. Your rhymes are good too. Overall a nice poem.
