Deep sadness.......

Why am I invisible to you?
Why do I walk past you,
Broken and ignored?
And though you may turn your head,
Your lips dont speak,
And my ears hear only your silence.
Just leave me alone.
Just let the cold wind dry my tears.
Just leave the thorns in my heart,
And let the blood run dry.
Writing my poems
sometimes doesn't help
having to hide in my
words what I am not feeling
nor what I want to express
And I pace
Pride silencing the cries on my lips
Sorrow painting my face
Lonliness consuming me
And you are silent
Smiling on the outside
as I slowly die inside
with the memories of
things that were
hiding within words of
happiness, joy, love
Inside I have sadness
dislike for myself.........
