Be My Lady
Could you walk with me across the bridges I forgot to burn?
Face with me, the painful memories of my life?
Stand beside me even when I'm ready to call it quits
Help heal a heart that only forgives but never forgets
Would it bother you to know your aren't the first
To gain acess to my heart, or be idolized in my poems?
That you've gained access to what others simply walked by
Do you want to take a place within my heart's hollowed walls
Would you always have a place for me to lay my weary head
An openm shoulder for when life got me down
A Kiss goodnight to make the darkest midnight seem bright
Have you got the strength to be my lady?
