cry out desperately, in disparity
only to find that your alone...
no ones listening,
all this time we've been
walking on broken lives...
as they're splintering into our feet
like shards of glass,
smashed into a thousand hopeless feelings
that we know as open wounds...
we leave behind us a trail of liquid vanity,
and those grudges that you hold so dear
are meaningless now,
so just deal with each day as it comes....
just like you said..."i'll deal with each day as it comes.."
venture to those lands of influence
that I once fell victim to,
I hate to break the news
but your misery at hand
is caused by those you call your friends.
guilty of such painful actions,
I was once to blame.
but the reminders by those ***** souls
are reason for this illness
it seems that I am the one
who has to deal with it, each day as it comes.
the difference is that I never said
"ill deal with each day as it comes."

This is a very powerful poem and the imagery was vivid. Good job!
