Whispering sensations Full throttle ahead Reserved hesitation Lovers in their separate beds Curious fingers Legs in an open spread Your perfume lingers Obsessive reminders Of a lost time far behind us When your lips were cherry red
Pondering our options Ive bowed gracefully out Muted to closed captions Ive opted for the peaceful route The early worm Always gets devoured The late bird starves And dies a coward While stumbling about
A parallel thought Transcends this demise Youve been caught In a web of your own dirty lies The spider soon returns To the web he once wove Demolishing all you strove-
To build, this bed of gold Your passion dissipates All has gone wrong All you anticipate All is regulated Time is segregated From the depths To the elevated
Summon a spell From your book of devilish magic Perhaps this lonely hell Wont stay so selfishly tragic

I know it's been a while...
and you probably don't remember me-
...but that last stanza...
..phew...!
...was awesome-
..(and I think I love the rest as well!)
Yours-
