You will find a star
Someone special
Someone extraordinaire
Never look to others
As to what they see
You are the only one
To place value on ME
Dont let them take advantage
Or tell you who you are
Know you deserve respect
Stand strong by far
Each person needs love
In yourself believe
Reach for the stars
Dream and achieve
Live, love and help others
Bring out your best
Many will soon see
And just forget the rest

LOVE the second stanza! It speaks volumes! But the whole
piece is so incredibly positive and wise. Far too many
people, (good people) put an enormous amount of stock
in what others say and feel. It's tragic.
Great work. Poignantly penned.
