Topic: oops

For everyone who thinks they know,
That every day is ever great,
There is someone, who never knows,
Why they keep on going,
And dreams of what the day will be
When their pain will end.

Side by side they live their lives,
Every moment just the same,
Every moment miles apart,
Never can, they move closer,
Switching shoes, never an option.

Misery can only ever hear misery,
Happiness looks only upon happiness.
Many times the two do meet,
When eyes do capture whats inside,
Never does the meeting last.
Instead our friends, change and pretence,
Are always present, to hold us apart.
