unsolved puzzle

Topic: Lifepoems

There are just some things in life that can't be explained
Like why love falls to satisfy a person deep in pain
Or why the world seems just so cruel
With wars and roses in a game of chess duel
Why there are tears in joy
Or why souls are played with, like a little childs toys
When broken glass can be taped but never mended
When certain hopes have just ended
We look for an explanation
For why we have to have such determination
As if the hearts have withered to deflation
With one god, no god and incarnation
We surrender our thoughts to annihilation
Sometimes these questions have no answers
Just like now we try to cure cancer
Some things are best left alone
Because life is a puzzle best left un-resolved
Some times when the heartbeat ceases to beat
Life has given into defeat
But life is the enemy of all hope
Never will we be able to reach its scope
So then there must be no reason to mope
Because a puzzle, a maze is one with which we cope
Like being pulled in by a strengthening rope
Our destiny is sealed in an iron envelope
So why try and question fate
Lets live day by day and desire the great
The residue of past emotions may play a role
For which there is no actual toll
Why do we then ponder on what lies an ahead?
The road to life has no dead end
The shadows of the past we cannot mend
And our future we cannot comprehend
Because some things in life are best left alone
Life is surely a puzzle best left Un-Solved

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
