For my love

Contributed by Nicbagsgirl on Thursday, 26th January 2006 @ 06:38:07 PM in AEST
Topic: DarkPoetry

He is the only one to which my heart I will share
But to him I am but another awful gift from god that he bears.
I do not help him in any significant way.
Instead I ***** him off day after day.
My angel wants to massacre his town, starting near by
I will stand watching his sins as tears fall from my eyes.
But He is beautiful in my eyes
I ignore all his lies
I sit there in denial
And shuffle for a knife in the pile
Because no matter what my angel does
It is he who my heart loves.
I will release all of my pain
The substance of blood runs from my veins
I will never let him see my cry
I would give him my life and for mine to die.
I cut deeper and deeper as he sits close by.
Never does he look nor even sigh
But it is how I cope with this
Why is it my heart he did miss

wow..that's very deep and very sad..its a great write though..i wish you didn't have to feel this way....it's like whatever you do..even if you're dying infront of him..he won;t notice you...and he makes all these bad mistakes etc. but you still love him..if this is how you feel..you're not alone..

I read this about three times because I can feel it. Feel it deeply. Check out my poem concentual homicide. I think it is a different way of expressing a similar situation of anguish/hopelessness/painful love. Very well done though.
