another mask, another day
you are now, my only escape
from the hateful stares and whispers
there was a time
when i was the sky and i was the sea
and all of this belonged to me
i could have crushed it all
but, i was just too tired
so i let it grow and lost control
and i gave up
i gave up the sky and i gave up the sea
in favor of masks that disguised me
i watched it all slip out of my hands
and bleed into oblivion
no masks or charades on our final night
cemetery by candlelight
love made, a final conversation
in silence we acknowledge the fact
that we both are already dead
an unspoken agreement
four wrists bleeding
lying on the cold earth
embracing and kissing
crying and dying
finally happy, because we know
where ever we go, we'll be together
forever
