His leg brushed against me
On that fateful day
And I knew
My life would change
In every conceivable way
My heart began to beat
At such a rapid pace
I turned by body away
So he could not see my face
Now each morning I awaken
And feel
The soft touch of him
And hear
The rhythm of his heart
And know
That in this life
We will never part

Very beautifully expressed romantic love.
What we really love, can never be lost.
On the contrary, love may even grow when it is physically lost.
