This little guy is crying

Topic: FamilyPoems

This little guy is crying out to be heard by you
You may not hear him, but he's sending you a clue
You can see it in his eyes that he's searching to belong
With the seriousness of his expressions, you can't be wrong
He puts on Daddy's shoes and walks around the room
He wants to be like his Daddy, one would assume
When Daddy and Mommy come into his sight
His face--oh the ecstasy--his smile is light
He feels the rejection when visiting far away
Even to Grandmas and Grandpas, it wasn't to play
He doesn't understand the reason behind the scene
All he knows is that something is wrong, by all means
Now he's back in his home and wants to remain there
With all that is going on -- please show him you care
Don't get me wrong--I know you love him very dearly
I understand fully - you need time to think clearly
With all that has happened - with all that has transpired
Hold on to him tightly -- even when you are tired!
Pray for surpassing peace from God up above
You also need His strength and also His love
To carry you through these hours of too much stress
I pray that that stress will become less and less
And that your little family be much stronger than before
And that your little guy will feel all your love and so much more

Hello Linda:

I appreciate how you use all emotions to write your lovely poetry, and coming up with such love in the end. You have a wonderful ability to write these things, a keen eye for what is happening in this world.. keep writing them, great messages in your poems.. great visual images..

Your poem reminded me of Hans Christian Andersens story: The Saucy Boy

http://hca.gilead.org.il/saucy_bo.html

Different than what you wrote, yet I was reminded of it just the same.

We must all pray for these unfortunate families in the world. Many hugs to you Linda.. raquelLeah
