To, and fro, fro, and to back and forth, forth and back, and so it dances before my eyes, heavy growing, mind slowing. the pendant held on the golden chain, stirring up memories, bringing up pain.
everything will be alright, everything will be okay, so they whisper, so they clamor, and I cannot say
back, back, please go, get gone, be gone, never come again, don't come, not 'round here.
swinging, singing, whistling through the air. slowing, glinting, drowning me in memories lower and lower, upon the conscious chain, beneath the murky waters, beneath the surface of memories
memories best left forgotten.

| Its a shame that even beautiful objects such as pendants can bring back horrible memories we wish to bury and forget. This is a great poem keep up the great writing! |
