HUMAN EXPRESSION ?

Contributed by sassydovebird on Friday, 3rd February 2006 @ 12:59:07 AM in AEST
Topic: SadPoetry

Having both known and suffered
Now I must go on
Life resumes sometimes happy,mostly sad
Loved and lost
God I hate the words
But I tried,I gave my all...

Some things just not meant to be
You were one of them
You held my heart like a fragile wine glass
Drank till it was empty
Then threw it away
Splintering on the rough walk of life..

Why,oh why is life never happy for long
Sad,sad,my heart is black and cold
Tragic is the lesson I have learned
So close,are hurtful,the words
Never ever give your all
It comes back to haunt day by day...

Is there life still out there in the world
I see,I hear people,but I do not feel
Thanks to you my dying friend
Life as I once knew it is no more
Cold,bleak,black,zombie-like
This is the new life as I now know it
Life is just one big play
With different scenes day by day...
