Everytime I see the red rose That you gave to me I see you standing there Bringing back the memories From that horrible day of love Valentines Day The day you shot me in the heart I was shattered into pieces My gift from you Was two goodbye poems When my eyes met with the paper My feelings were torn apart into pieces Falling all over the floor Splattered around like the blood that you shed Everytime I fall You get up Getting stronger and stronger As I get weaker and weaker Finally letting go Of the love That I once had for you

I see so much gut wretching tragedy in this poem. Though this was very simplistic in the form of tragedy simplicity is the most expressive form. My heart and prayers are with you and I wish you a much happier, less tragic, and romantic valentine's day this year.
