No one

Hey you
Is what they call me
I'm the music addict
They don't know me like I am
They know me as they see
Even people I know for years
Seem to ignore the real me
People at my school
People at home
People in the streets
To so many I'm unknown
The boy I love doesn't know I exist
The words I speak go unnoticed
Every tear I cry at night
Will I ever find my place
I keep on screaming but there is no sound
Silence I feel like it haunts me
When I'm walking down the street
They only look away from me
That's why I'm so negative
Because I get attention
Desperate in this quest
For attention will it last
I have to stop acting like a fake
And remove this mask from my face
Just look them deeply in the eyes
Maybe they'll see the tears I've cried
I will no longer dissapear
Look at me, standing here

Sad poem. I can also relate to this.. It is hard when everyone looks at you like you are nothing and like it offends them if you come into there sight.. People will never understand because they do not wish too.. It is hard to fit into a society that won't accept difference and uniqueness..

Take care
christina
