I’ll Take You Anyway I Can Get You

Contributed by Jyssvw on Monday, 6th February 2006 @ 09:06:03 PM in AEST
Topic: oops

I feel bad people have to look at me
A face
Out of shape
Without symmetry
Flagrant misery

Packed pants,
Snake dance,
Roll of quarters,
Positive impressions
Holds no water,
Freighting refractions,
The mirror gives back,
The image it retracts,
In its exact numerical order

The feisty tree limb
Attempts to enter a shut window
The radiator hollers
Vents its fumes
Heat for sale on a cold afternoon
The winter can never come too soon
As the rants and ravings
Satisfy beastly cravings
And conform to a singular monolithic tune

Smoke and mirrors
Criminal chasers
Invisible-ink eraser
Everglade gladiator
Sunk alligator
Correct answer
True or false
Multiple choice
Forced then coerced
Filled with air
A pin to burst
This may sting
Im lying
It will definitely hurt

Banna splits
The center peals
Licking pink
Sex appeal
Slits the wrist
Muffled rift
Seals the deal
The earth shakes
Be as you feel
There is no alternative
To being real
Being you

I sit staring at brick walls
Stuck with green screws
I cant help but feel abused
For a choice I had-
But did not choose
Damn me
But not really
Im just lost and confused

Man Jyss...
I've always loved your work-
you are brutally poetic-
(3rd stanza)
off the charts my friend...
Your wanton need to "be wanted"
is ferocious...
Your work is brilliant...

Sincerely..

Billy
