Lord, i hope your not too busy today
i've come to the chapel to pray
lately i've drifted away so i'm not sure where to start
afterall what do you tell someone who already knows your heart
recently moms been sick, ornery, and mean
bringing up what i did when i was just a teen
so i'm asking you to show her how people should be treated
and in faith i know her demons will soon be defeated
we both know my older sister has become a lady of the night
and i hardly ever get any sleep knowing things just aint right
me, i'm only human but you can keep her from harm way
so i hope you'll lure her back into your arms today
now i hear that brother is not doing so good
his family is broken and he'd change that if he could
even though his faith is low and he feels he'll never win
you can take whats been broken and make it hole again
my daddy's been with you now goin on six years
you and him are the only two who have seen all my tears
im far from suicidal and i know that dying isn't much fun
but feel free anytime to reunite a father and his son
