I close my eyes and see you
The sound of your voice I miss
I still cant believe youre gone
Without a goodbye kiss
I regret the days we didnt talk
When you were only a call away
I filled my life with only me
I thought you were here to stay
I spoke with you just the day before
Just the flu you said
The hospital stay was just routine
The following day you were dead
Im not sure I said I love you
In a hurry to go play ball
If Id known the last time was the last time
I wouldnt have ended that call
I close my eyes and see you
The sound of your voice I miss
I still cant believe youre gone

I am terribly sorry for your loss...I know how it feels. I lost my mother 27 years ago and it happened in a similar way.
I hope you find some solace soon...

Condolences on ur loss. I had tears in my eyes and a pain in my heart. I'm so sorry for the loss of ur mother. Her memories will live on inside ur heart. She'll be smiling at u from heaven and saying to the rest of the angels, " look down yonder that's my son, I love him so much and I'm mighty proud of him"
I hope you find solace soon. My thoughts and prayers are with u.
