What am I but a fading image of my ancestors How much wrong have we done? Is my religion wrong? Are my beliefs wrong?
Hounded by my past I will find no release Watching my freedom growing away I look back... War took much more than innocent lives It stole from us much more than peace and love Not knowing, looking at the faces of your neighbours you're looking at the faces of your enemies
I hear her voice crying I can't remember the last time I was happy at home Love stayed in the background Blood washed away all my fear my silent cry in the night Death wasn't strange anymore Please, I can't wait I'm not strong enough receive my soul for I am done here
