I wish there was room for two
Just enough for me and you
All these injustices to keep us apart
You pull all the strings together on my torn heart
Just a quiet smile lets me know you care
Just a quiet whisper in my ear lets me know youre there
Remember when we laughed so hard we cried
And that time you kissed me so lovingly I nearly died?
I always wonder why the world can treat us like this
Your laugh is the only reason I have to believe heaven exists
I feel myself tense when you run your hand up my back
And I feel my heart smile when you kiss me right back
With every tear drop I cry wishing you were near
I just look at a photo and know in my heart youre right here
The comfortable feeling when youre around is quite strange
Ive only had that security with you and Id never complain
And yes, you are the friend who touches my heart and holds my hand
And yes,
You are the friend who turns on the light when Im in the dark,
So just stay here with me and dont go away
Right hereIn loving arms is where I want to stay
