i think about you all the time, even when i don't want to
i try to move on with my life, but my thoughts always drift to you
i want to get you out of my head, i know we can't be together
i hate how things have happened, and the way that they are now
you were my first true love, the one i gave my all to
you are the one that loved me for me, and never tried to change me
you alone held the key to my heart and i hope you know you still have it
you are the only one that i could ever see my future in
maybe some day things will all work out great
maybe we will both see that there just can't be any other way
maybe fate will play out and make our paths unite
maybe we will be "us" again, and i can only wait
