Gentle Breeze

Contributed by ramfire on Thursday, 9th February 2006 @ 02:21:10 PM in AEST
Topic: LovePoetry

When the breeze is as gentle as I now do see,
and it touches your hair with soft playful caress,
this all common thing seems then a view wrought for me,
and gives happy strong feelings that life cant suppress.

As when we walk along the path being alone,
the sun shines on your face and gives me a near sight
of your radiant glow that reveals smooth skin tone,
and with loving look I ken that you are all right.

Theres a beam in your eye put there by Gods good grace,
an intelligent brain with a humorous mind,
all ensconced, kept behind a well sculptured young face,
your pure soul with poor mine doth eternally bind.

Hair of brownish blond color and eyes that have shine,
now always live with me and do know, love, youre mine.

I really like it! You have a really good use of your vocabulary. I love how you mentioned God's good grace. Keep up the great work, and if you don't mind please read and comment on my poem The Ocean's Fury. Thank You.

You write beautifully about this "girl". It's like a little story of your love within this poem. Great piece. Kimberly
