I am not afraid Everyone will see This consuming fear Will not conquer me
I stare straight ahead Not daring to make a move Wondering if at this moment My flight will be smooth
Suddenly I am soaring high Looking all around Above me the sky Below me the ground
The bay is straight ahead Clouds billow past I know I am in control And given the wheel at last
To fly this plane myself From here to there Is a feeling of wonder No one can compare
I am not afraid Everyone will see For I am soraing high High as high can be

Fair expression of emotion but not very original, actually quite conventional. |

Although my poem is somewhat ambiguous I actually wrote about conquering my fear of flying by learning to fly airplanes. |

I thought this poem was extremely well done.... and I thought it could have referred to overcoming any fear, not just a fear of flying.
Well done..
