When everyone you love leaves you alone
and your broken heart can no longer be sewn
you cant cry, you cant scream, you cant take them all
but what happens when you dont? one more push and you'll fall
one more push, one more look, one more whisper you'll break
and the whole world will realize your whole life is fake
then what will you do? worse off than before
you can't keep them out just by locking the door
you cant stop the rumors, or dull the hurt
those pitiful whispers are all that your worth

| Very sad indeed. The last two lines were great. Though you have a few cliches, just to name one "Your whole life is a fake" has been used to numerous times before. But don't let this deter you from your writing. Poetry is a wonderful form of art. =) |
