I want to be happy
but thats a stage I can not reach
I dont want to be sad
but thats just something I have to live with
I do have dreams you know
but sadly because of my sadness they will never become reality
I miss the me I used to be
I hate the me that I am today
The old me was never this sad
He was so bright and cheerful
Hardly ever dwelled on anything
When disaster struck and reared it ugly head
That me disappeared
and I became the man you see before you
The saddened shell of a man
