i like to speak my mind
in ironic twisted lines
and never let anyone mess
with my web of words
i watch the television
and see all the shows
and their messed up languages
of twisted english
i like to think
that codes were used for more than fun
or hate, in fact
no one uses them much anymore
who cares if they know what we say
and its cooler to be tough
but you may never win
if you think you've had enough
everyone is used to
being polite or sugarcoating what they say
and when i speak my mind
even i feel guilty sometimes
and no one sees
that they can't control anyone but themselves
and power is just a cover up for respect
that no one may ever have for you
don't call me a cynic cuz i always see both sides....
sadly.
