MOONLIGHT ON SNOW

Contributed by lovingcritters on Sunday, 12th February 2006 @ 01:09:55 PM in AEST
Topic: Grief

MOONLIGHT ON SNOW

Peace personified on this moonlight night,
It's partner stillness, brightness unmoving light.
Alone, as I gaze at the moon on newly fallen snow.
My heart is not still, my soul full of woe............

Somewhere a child is hungry, another is ill.
One is enduring a fatal beating, like snow very still.
Death's sting pulls mercilessly--a bruised heart's chill.
Our Loving Creator is not at fault, 'tis against His will.

In quietude my thoughtlike feelings go astray
There is no comforter, unfeeling hearts block
warm love's way.
Oh Dear God in Heaven, how much longer
must we endure?
Intervene, Please......remove all outcry our
hearts secure!

Until that long awaited day appears....
I hope you will comfort others in their grief,
and wipe away their tears.

In Loving Memory of
Patrick M. Solon,
1984-2006

in what you call the dark, but which to me is golden.
I can see a God-made world, not a manmade world."

A powerful and well written work -a figurative and literal reflection of beauty and sorrow. May God watch over all his children.
