hello old frind, how was your day
did everything seem to go your way
did the sun seem to shine brightly on you
did its rays cary a way all that made you blue
did the birds chirp and sing for you a song
did the world around you seem to get along
when you closed your eyes briefly to blink
were you reminded of the thoughts you forgot to think
as you finaly began to find your way
could you hear the words you never ment to say
did you give away all that you ever had to loose
all in the name of chasing away the blues
I hope you end the day knowing you did things right
goodbye old friend, goodbye and goodnight
