Thoughts of you run through my head
And my tears, they fall like rain
For fear that Ill never see your face
Or hear you say my name
I remember the words you whispered
How you said youd never leave
And I remember the way you never knew
How to those words I cleaved
You never understood my love for you
Couldnt you see it in my eyes?
I loved you more than life itself
I knew without you I would die
But no, you never saw this
You cheated and you lied
You used me and abused me
And left me here to die
And after all youve put me through
Youre still the one I need
So I sit alone in the dark
Sit quietly and bleed
I wait for the day youll realize
That you belong with me
And until that day arrives
Ill be down here on my knees
Praying for God to open your eyes
So that you might see
That we were meant to be together
For all eternity
